Bruce Ander P.Eng. President & CEO
Over 35 years in the Ontario energy sector with a speci c focus on the development of natural gas distributed generation and district energy systems. CEO of MDE since 2002. In 2015, Chair of the International District Energy Association; a non-pro t industry association founded in 1909 with over 2000 members in 26 countries.
Peter Ronson P.Eng. Vice President
Vice President since 2007 with overall responsibility for operations, engineering and construction of energy production centres, thermal distribution systems, and combined heat and power assets. Additionally, Peter focuses on customer relationships, new technology and energy e ciency measures. Peter sits on the Board of APPrO (Association of Power Producers of Ontario).
Jim Kee, Director of Operations
Jim has held senior management positions in the steel, power generation, waste management and mining industries. Jim’s career has been focused on maintaining continuous operation of plant equipment, and developing innovative engineering, operational and personnel solutions to achieve that focus.
Ricardo Ahn, CPA, CA, Director of Finance
Responsible for the overall nance function of the company, Ricardo works closely with the leadership team on planning, operations, and project initiatives. Ricardo has experience working in the engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCM), and mining industries. He started his career in the assurance practice of a big four accounting rm.
